【性状】

本品为不规则的碎片，常向内卷曲，大小不一。外表面灰绿色或黄白色，被有白霜，有的较光滑不被白霜；内表面较粗糙，有的可见筋脉状维管束。体轻，质脆。无臭，味淡。

【鉴别】

本品粉末淡棕黄色至黄绿色。果皮表皮细胞表面观类多角形，垂周壁平直；气孔不定式，副卫细胞5～7个。石细胞大多成群，呈类圆形或多角形，直径10～56 μm，纹孔及孔沟明显。螺纹导管多见，直径16～54μm。

【检查】

水分照水分测定法（附录Ⅸ H第一法）测定，不得过12.0％。总灰分不得过12.0％（附录Ⅸ K）。

【炮制】

除去杂质，洗净，切块或宽丝，晒干。

【性味与归经】

甘，凉。归脾、小肠经。

【功能与主治】

利尿消肿。用于水肿胀满，小便不利，暑热口渴，小便短赤。
