丹麦研究人员最近发表的一份报告指出,大蒜能使皮肤细胞保持活力,使人保持年轻。研究发现,蒜头中含有一种名叫蒜氨酸的高效物质,它可以通过蒜氨酸裂解酶转变成蒜素,这种物质与现代抗生素的作用相同,能调节胆固醇,降低血压,防止体内细茵的生长,促进机体的解毒功能。他们把人的皮肤细胞培养在每一毫升有100微克大蒜的营养液中,发现细胞的繁殖速度加快,而每个纫胞的老化过程放慢,存活时间延长,从而证实大蒜能延缓人体皮肤衰老。大蒜因此被誉为“青春美丽守护神”。
