自矾岩大桥至南雁镇东门，全长6.2公里，溪宽40～100米，两岸山色空濛、树木繁茂。清时是顺溪至东西洞之间水上游览线，又是顺溪至水头镇水上运输线。沿溪乘竹筏游览，两岸景色，目不暇接，不亚于武夷九曲。
