卡奇沼泽地
一译“库奇大荒地”。印度西部古吉拉特邦的一个独特的地形区,一部分延伸到巴基斯坦境内。是一片辽阔的不毛的泥淖大荒地。约长350公里,宽40-80公里。年降水量400毫米以下。地面被河流和干河道所切割。河流呈树枝状,没于泥滩中。干河道具有陡岸,且有结晶的白色盐皮。有不少孤立的盐渍化斑点。雨季时,由大小河流流水浸覆地表,形成泥淖,也有不少地势稍高犹如岛屿的地面,散布于泥淖之中。
