This paper introduces in detail the whole course of developing automatic control system of the withholding amount of clasping pipeline machine by utilizing configuration control technology and describes in whole the functions of the system,the composition of software and hardware,the setting-up of the variable dictionary,the workflow and operation mode of withholding and so on.
