| 武装直升机 armed helicopter 装有武器并为执行战斗任务而设计的直升机。主要用于攻击地面、水面和水下目标，为运输直升机护航，有的还可与敌直升机进行空战。它具有机动灵活，反应迅速，适于低空、超低空抵近攻击，能在运动和悬停状态开火等特点。武装直升机通常是指用来突击地面目标的直升机，故又称强击直升机、攻击直升机，多配属于陆军航空兵，是航空兵实施直接火力支援的新型机种。
武装直升机分为专用型和多用型两类。专用型是专门为遂行攻击任务而设计的，其机身窄长，机内只有前后乘坐的2名乘员(射击员、飞行员)，作战能力较强 。多用型除用来遂行攻击任务外，还可用于运输、机降、救护等。现代武装直升机包括：反坦克、反潜、反舰、火力支援和空战等型。装备有先进的导弹、鱼雷、航空机关炮等机载武器。武装直升机的主要活动方式是：贴地飞行，隐蔽接敌，突然袭击，迅速转移。反坦克作战是武装直升机的主要用途之一，它与坦克对抗时，在视野、速度、机动性及武器射程等方面具有明显优势，射击精度和击毁概率高。主要武器是反坦克导弹。 |
