挤压铸造extrusion casting液体金属进入金属型后在冲头传递的压力作用下充型并凝固成铸件的铸造方法。又称液体金属冲压、液体模锻。 挤压铸造时,液体金属直接浇入下型,然后用上型冲头进行挤压(见图)。一般挤压力在10 MPa以下时称低压力挤压铸造;高于100 MPa时称高压力挤压铸造。金属卿液体金属┌──┐ │ │ └┬─┼─┐ │ │ │ └─┴─┘ 挤压铸造示意 a挤压前b挤压后挤压铸造的浇注温度略低于一般铸造,加压速度一般为0.1一0.4m/s,保压时间为0.5一1.55/mm。 挤压铸造由于液体金属的充型和凝固都是在压力作用下完成的,因此具有以下特点:①铸件尺寸精度高,表面粗糙度相当于压力铸造的水平。②铸件在凝固过程中能得到有效的补缩,还可能有局部的塑性变形,使溶解在液体金属中的气体很难析出,又因金属与型壁紧密接触而提高了激冷程度,所以铸件中无缩孔、缩松和气孔等铸造缺陷。③晶粒细小,组织致密,力学性能比一般铸件的高,接近或达到同类合金的锻件水平。④不设置专门的浇冒口系统,因此减少了液体金属的消耗量,而且成品率高。 挤压铸造既适用于铸造合金,也适用于变形合金。可制造铝、铜、镁、锌等有色合金铸件,也可制造铸铁、铸钢、镍基或钻基高温合金铸件,甚至金属基复合材料和铸石件等。其铸件类型有活塞、高压阀体、蜗轮、仪表零件、电器元件、壳体、刹车轮毅、武器零件和日用品(铁锅、高压锅、餐具)等。 (昔柬松)
