自下向上掘进倾斜巷道的作业。根据穿过的岩层，分为煤上山、岩石上山和半煤岩上山。采用凿岩爆破法破岩时，要防止崩倒支架并加强通风。装岩与运输方式，根据上山倾角决定。倾角小于10°的煤上山、用装煤机装煤；倾角小于30°时,岩石和半煤岩上山用耙斗装岩机装岩，煤上山可根据不同条件，采用链板输送机、搪瓷溜槽和矿车运输；倾角大于35°时,煤和矸石均可沿溜矸间底板自重溜下。
