性质:白色叶状晶体。熔点171℃。易溶于水,溶于醇、氯仿,不溶于醚。具潮解性。

制备方法:由二甲胺与盐酸成盐而得。将盐酸缓缓滴入二甲胺中,30%的盐酸用量约为40%二甲胺的1.1倍,滴入速度以温度不超过15℃,pH=7-8为限。反应结束后,加活性炭脱色,过滤,滤液用盐酸调节至pH=3-4,减压蒸水至尽,得二甲胺盐酸盐。

用途:二甲胺盐酸盐是有机合成的原料,还用作乙酰化分析的催化剂和镁试剂。
