历史:据晋代葛洪撰《西京杂记》记载:“瀚海梨,出瀚海北,耐寒不枯”。此“梨”指的就是库尔勒香梨、库尔勒地区栽培香梨,距今已有2000多年的历史。
典故:相传,古代有一个叫艾丽曼的姑娘,为了让乡亲们吃上梨子,她不畏艰难,朝东翻越99座山,到过99个地方,骑死99头毛驴,引进99株梨树,在当地栽植。其中只有一株梨树与本地的野梨树嫁接成功。当梨树上结的梨子成熟时,香气浓郁,随风飘散,乡亲高兴地称它为“奶西姆提”,意思是喷香的梨子。
特点:库尔勒市位于新疆维吾尔自治区巴音郭楞蒙古自治州北部,天山南麓,塔里木盆地北缘,孔雀河流贯,是一个肥沃的绿洲。这里出产的香梨最为有名,素有“梨乡”之美称。库尔勒香梨,维吾尔叫“奶西姆提”,它以皮薄、肉脆、汁多、味甜、酥香、爽口,耐贮藏,营养丰富等特点驰名中外。印度人称它是“中国的王子”,其珍贵由此可见一斑。
成份:据科学化验分析,库尔勒香梨营养价值高,含糖量10%,酸0.03%,灰分0.12%,每一百克香梨含维生素c约四点三毫克,可食部分达83.6%。
奖项:1985年,库尔勒香梨被评为中国优质水果。
库尔勒香梨由新疆巴音郭楞蒙古自治州香梨协会申请注册为地理标志,注册号为892019,产品类别为香梨,地域范围:新疆巴音郭楞南部和阿克苏东南部,具体范围在孔雀河流域和塔里木河流域,塔克拉玛干沙漠的北边缘,冷热空气剧烈冲击地带的:库尔勒、尉犁、轮台、库车、新和、沙雅、阿克苏、阿瓦提和分布在这些地区里的国营园(团)场 。
