| 库尔勒市 位于中国新疆维吾尔自治区中部，孔雀河畔。面积7450平方千米，1990年人口25.1万。民族有维吾尔、汉、回等。西汉时为渠犁国。后为焉耆兼并。民国六年（1917）设库尔勒县佐，1930年设库尔勒设治局，1943年置库尔勒县。1979年设立库尔勒市，1983年将库尔勒县撤销并入。隶属巴音郭楞蒙古自治州。为自治州首府和生产建设兵团农二师师部所在地。市区北部为天山支脉，地势高峻。南部为孔雀河流域，多河渠、绿洲和沼泽地。属温带大陆性干旱气候。农作物有小麦、燕麦、玉米、水稻、棉花、油菜、高粱，还产梨、杏、桃等水果，库尔勒香梨以汁多、果香闻名中外。工业有电力、建材、煤炭、皮革、纺织、化工、机械、酿酒、制药、造纸、印刷、粮油加工和食品加工等。南疆交通的枢纽和物资集散中心。有南疆铁路通吐鲁番、和静，并与兰新铁路相连，可通乌鲁木齐等地。有公路干线和支线通往南疆各地。还有航班通乌鲁木齐、喀什、库车。名胜古迹有库尔勒旧城、铁门关、加麦清真寺。 |
