Investigations were carried on the problem of cracking during the solution treatment of GH4105 alloy cold-drawing bars,as well as the effect of solution treatment on the grain size grade of the final products.

A kinemfattically admissible velocity field for axisymmetric bar drawing through a hyperbolic die is established, and with the surface integral determining the friction power,and the upper limit function integral determining the internal deformation power, an upper bound analytical solution to the field is obtained.
