性质:该品凝固点-52.4℃,沸点87.5℃。常用其硫酸盐。硫酸甲肼[302-15-8]为白色片状结晶。熔点141-142℃,溶于水,难溶于醇。

制备方法:以水合肼、苯甲醛为原料,经缩合、甲基化反应而得。将39%的水合肼加入反应锅内,于20-30℃搅拌滴加苯甲醛,约7h加完,继续搅拌2h,放置过夜。次日过滤,用水洗涤至近中性,烘干得粒状固体苄叉连氮,熔点90-93℃,收率约95%以上。将苯、苄叉连氮、硫酸二甲酯加入反应锅内,密闭搅拌回流5h。冷却,析出固体,加水,固体即溶解,分层,进行水蒸气蒸馏,至蒸不出苯甲醛为止。加入无水乙醇,析出固体,冷却,过滤,得硫酸甲肼。收率为60%-70%。

用途:用于有机合成。硫酸甲肼经酰化反应可制得N-甲基二甲酰肼。将甲酸、甲酸钠、硫酸甲肼加入搪玻璃反应锅内,慢慢升温至110-115℃,搅拌1.5h。冷却至5℃,过滤,并用无水乙醇洗涤,合并洗滤液,减压浓缩后用氯仿提取,过滤除去硫酸钠,用氯仿洗涤。进取液减压蒸去氯仿,放冷,加入无水乙醇及乙醚。析出固体,过滤,用少量乙醚洗涤,直空干燥,即得N-甲基二甲酰肼。熔点50-51℃。收率70%-80%。用于药物甲基苯肼的生产。甲肼还用于火箭燃料。
