性质:是钯基含铱的二元合金,有高温为连续固溶体;在1480℃和50%~55%Pd处,固溶体分解。铱具有显著的强化作用。有PdIr10、PdIr18、PdIr30等合金,前两种应用较广。用高频炉氩气保护熔炼、高铱合金用电弧熔炼,铸锭热锻开坯和冷加工成线材、板材等。主要用作电刷和断开接点,PdIr30具有更高的硬度和稳定性,可在较恶劣环境下使用。此外还可用作人造纤维的喷丝头。
