性质:又称姜黄环氧薁醇,莪术醇。无色针状结晶(由无水乙醇中结晶)。熔点143~144℃(141~142℃)。旋光度-40.5°(c=1.75,乙醇);旋光度[α]D-40.8°(氯仿)。易溶于乙醚、氯仿,溶于乙醇,微溶于石油醚,不溶于水。在加热条件下,可发生变晶现象和升华现象。植物来源有姜科植物莪术[Curcuma zedoaria (Berg.)Rosc.]的根茎,郁金(C. aromatica Salisb.)的根茎等。也可由莪术二酮定量地异构化而得。具有抗肿瘤活性。
