A series of tetrepolymers with methyl pendant were prepared from 2,2′-dimethyl-4,4′-diphenoxydiphenylsulfone (o-CH_3-DPODPS)、diphenyl ether (DPE)、terephthaloyl chloride (TPC) and isophthaloyl (IPC) by electrophilic copolycondensation in the presence of aluminum chloride、1,2-dichloroethane and N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF).

二氨基二苯砜简称DDS，分子量248．3。白色或微黄色结晶粉末，暴露于空气或见光会氧化变为淡红色。相对密度(20 ℃／4℃)1．33，熔点170～175℃。溶于甲醇、乙醇、丙酮，几乎不溶于水。无毒。
用作环氧树脂的耐高温固化剂，参考用量30～35phr，l00g环氧树脂配合物适用期1年。固化条件130℃／1h十200 ℃／1h或160℃／6h。固化物热变形温度180～190℃。
贮存于阴凉、通风、干燥的库房内，远离火种、热源，防潮、防晒。
