性质:又称龙血树深红素。深红色柱状结晶。分解点169℃。易溶于甲醇、乙醇、氯仿、吡啶,难溶于苯、乙醚。不溶于石油醚。溶于硫酸,呈黄色。与盐酸、苦味酸成盐。在吡啶中经酰基化,变为甲醇型,形成酰基衍生物,用浓碱处理时,即分解为2-甲基均苯三酚-3-甲醚与苯乙酮,存在于椰子属植物的红色树脂血竭中,由萃取分离而得。为天然染料。
