Five novel N-(6-chloropyrid-3-yl)carbonyl-2-substituted arylsulfonamides 3a～3e were synthe- sized through the condensation of 6-chloropyrid-3-yl carboxylic acid (2) with 2-substituted arylsulfonamides (1) and characterized by elemental analyses, 1H NMR and IR spectra.
