High molecular weight aromatic polyamides were prepared from homemade 1,2 -dihydro -2 -(4 -aminophenyl) -4 -[4 -(4 -aminophenonxyl)phenyl] -phthalazin -1 -one (DHPZ -DA), 4,4' -diamino diphenyl methane (DAPM), p-phenylene diamine and terephthalic acid via direct polycondensation reaction in N-methylpyrrolidone, using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents.

| 聚芳酰胺 aromafic polyamides 主链至少含85％的直接与两个芳环相连的酰胺基团的聚合物。由于其分子链刚性，具有高耐热、高熔融温度、高强度和高耐化学性质，是一类高技术材料，主要用作纤维。聚芳酰胺可用低温溶液缩聚或界面缩聚制备。 最早开发的品种是由间苯二胺和间苯二甲酰氯合成的聚间苯二甲酰间苯二胺，它可在二甲基乙酰胺溶剂中纺丝，称为HT-1纤维，国外商品名 Nomex。其分解温度达 370℃，纤维强度0.049牛顿／旦，伸长率 30％。它具有耐高温、耐辐射、耐化学腐蚀、高温绝缘性、耐燃抗熖，用于防燃工作服、飞行服、高温工业滤材、电器绝缘纸、绝热毡等。 聚对苯甲酰胺是全对位结构的聚芳酰胺，具有高强度、高模量、高耐温特点，综合性能优于 Nomex，亦用于纺丝。国际商品名Kevlar，B纤维，中国商品名芳纶。 |
