The results showed that firstly,the level of eutrophication in western coastal area was more serious than the eastern,secondly,the N:P ratios in the coastal water was far more than 16 in the recent years and it belonged seriously P-limiting water,thirdly,after 1998,most factors of the quality of the coastal water had a largely rising.
