钢化玻璃 toughened glass 经强化处理、具有良好机械性能和耐热振性能的玻璃制品。主要用于汽车、火车、船舶、建筑物、器皿、仪表、家具等方面。钢化玻璃的制作工艺可以分为物理钢化和化学钢化两大类。物理钢化是将玻璃加热到接近软化温度,随即用冷却介质快速冷却,使玻璃表面产生压应力。按其冷却介质的不同,可以分为风冷钢化、液冷钢化和固冷钢化。其制品有平钢化玻璃、弯钢化玻璃、半钢化玻璃、区域钢化玻璃、器皿钢化玻璃、仪表用钢化玻璃等。物理钢化玻璃具有较高的抗弯强度、抗冲击强度和抗热振性能,破碎后,其碎片不带尖锐棱角,而是聚在一起成为布满裂缝的集合体,可减少对人的伤害。但物理钢化玻璃不能进行机械切割和钻孔,有自爆等特性。化学钢化是用化学方法改变玻璃表面组分以增加玻璃机械强度和耐热振性。其工艺过程是:在一定温度下,把玻璃浸入熔盐中,玻璃中的碱离子与熔盐中的碱离子因扩散而发生离子交换,使玻璃表面产生压应力,从而提高玻璃的机械强度和抗热振性能。可分为低温和高温两种类型,适用于薄壁、异型和要求尺寸精确的玻璃制品。 |
