白茅根 白茅根 拼音名：Baimaogen 英文名：RHIZOMA IMPERATAE 书页号：2000年版一部-80 本品为禾本科植物白茅Imperata cylindrica Beauv. var. major (Nees) C.E. Hubb. 的干燥根茎。春、秋二季采挖，洗净，晒干，除去须根及膜质叶鞘，捆成小把。
【性状】
本品呈长圆柱形，长30～60cm，直径0.2～0.4cm。表面黄白色或淡黄色， 微有光泽，具纵皱纹，节明显，稍突起，节间长短不等，通常长1.5～3cm。体轻，质略 脆，断面皮部白色，多有裂隙，放射状排列，中柱淡黄色，易与皮部剥离。无臭，味微 甜。
【鉴别】
(1) 取本品粗粉5g，加苯30ml，加热回流 1小时，滤过。取滤液5ml,蒸 干，残渣加醋酐1ml 使溶解，再加硫酸1～2滴，即显红色，后渐变成紫红色、蓝紫色， 最后变为污绿色。 (2) 取本品粗粉1g，加水10ml，煮沸5～10 分钟，滤过，滤液浓缩成1ml,加碱性酒 石酸铜试液1ml,置水浴中加热，生成棕红色沉淀。
【检查】
总灰分 不得过5.0％ （附录Ⅸ K）。
【炮制】
白茅根 洗净，微润，切段，干燥，除去碎屑。 茅根炭 取净白茅根段，照炒炭法（附录Ⅱ D）炒至焦褐色。
【性味与归经】
甘，寒。归肺、胃、膀胱经。
【功能与主治】
凉血止血，清热利尿。用于血热吐血，衄血，尿血，热病烦渴， 黄疸，水肿，热淋涩痛；急性肾炎水肿。
【用法与用量】
9～30g，鲜品30～60g 。
【贮藏】
置干燥处。
