“工”字纹绫 宋代丝织物。1975年宁夏银川贺兰山西夏陵区出土。 这种绫的斜纹地组织上起空心工字形的几何图案花纹。经线密度44—46根/厘米，纬线密度25—27根/厘米。经丝宽度0．71毫米，纬丝宽度1．0—1．07毫米纬丝显花部分的宽度为1．57—2．00毫米。花纹是以空心线条组成的工字形图案，工字套叠合榫，线条粗细均匀，富有民族风格。下图是它的纹样示意。花纹循环较小，采用小提花束综装置就可织造。工字绫纹的组织结构。它以细经粗纬为结构特点。地部采用二上一、下经面斜纹组织，纬浮起花长达七根以上，纬纹隆起，凹凸效果分明，颇如现代的纬显高花织物。这是在传统的唐绫织法基础上发展起来的一种新颖别致的纬线显花法。在工字绫表面还残留敷彩或印金粉的痕迹，这在花纹上还曾印制金粉图案，为此色彩更斑斓绚丽。
