| 济源市 位于中国河南省西北部，黄河北岸。省直辖县级市。面积1931平方千米。人口约57.92 万，以汉族为主。秦置轵县。隋开皇十六年（596 ）析轵县置济源县，因地处济水之源故名。1988年改为济源市。矿产资源有铁、铜、锰、煤 、石墨、黄铁矿、磷等。农产有小麦、玉米、水稻、棉花、油菜籽等。是省小麦生产基地。药材有全虫、连翘、金蒙石、艾叶、冬凌草等。盛产柿饼、樱桃、李子，所产黄甘李子畅销国外，誉为中国李子王。工业有冶金、机械、电力、采矿等行业。所产天坊砚石始制于唐代，是中国四大名砚之一。名胜古迹有王屋山 、盘谷 、五龙口三大风景区和黄河游览区，以及济渎庙、盘谷寺、延庆寺舍利塔等。 |
