性质:由核燃料颗粒和外层的包覆层构成。称为BISO的包覆颗粒的内层由低密度疏松热解碳构成,用以贮存裂变气体。外层为高密度的致密热解碳层,承受裂变气体压力和包容裂变产物。称为TRISO的包覆颗粒是在两层致密热解碳层之间加了一层碳化硅,增强阻止金属裂变产物迁移扩散的能力,起着厚壁安全壳的作用。
