棉毛交织的起绒针织物，又称骆驼绒。因织物绒面外观与骆驼的绒毛相似而得名。表面绒毛丰满，质地松软，保暖性强，延伸性好，是服装鞋帽、手套等衣着用品的良好衬里材料。通常用中支棉纱作底纱，粗纺粗支毛纱作绒纱，由针织机编织后经起绒构成绒面。成品幅宽在110～120厘米之间，重量约500克/米2。主要品种有大红、咖啡、紫红等美素驼绒，各种夹白花的花素驼绒，纵向起条子花纹的条子驼绒等。美素和花素驼绒是用圆型纬编针织机织成圆筒状织物，经剖割成平幅绒坯，再经匹染、拉毛起绒（见染整）而成。由于经过剖割，故幅边不整齐。美素驼绒的绒面采用纯羊毛纱，底组织用棉纱。花素驼绒的绒面采用羊毛与粘胶的混纺纱。条子驼绒是采用平型纬编针织机织成的。绒坯是平幅的，绒面采用纯羊毛纱和毛粘混纺纱，底背采用棉纱。编织时，经纱用彩色纱按一定距离间隔排列，织成五彩条子驼绒坯，经拉毛起绒整理。由于不经剖割，故幅边整齐、光洁。此外，还有腈纶驼绒、腈纶缝编驼绒等产品。
