| 羊驼 Lama alpacos；alpaca 偶蹄目骆驼科无峰驼（羊驼）属的一种。别名美洲驼、无峰驼。体型颇似高大的绵羊；颈长而粗；头较小，耳直立；体背平直，尾部翘起，四肢细长；被毛长达60～80厘米，呈浅灰、棕黄、黑褐等不同色型；雄性略大于雌性。产于南美的秘鲁和智利的高原山区。
羊驼是一种半野生动物 。栖息于海拔4000米的高原。每群十余只或数十只，由1只健壮的雄驼率领。以高山棘刺植物为食。发情季节争夺配偶十分激烈，每群中仅容1只成年雄驼存在。妊娠期8个月，每胎1仔。春夏两季皆能繁殖。羊驼的毛比羊毛长，光亮而富有弹性，可制成高级的毛织物。皮可制革。肉味鲜美。也能驮运。 |
