南雄人喜欢饮布荆(马鞭科牡荆属)土茶,当地农民每年取布荆籽或嫩叶晒干收藏,一年四季用此物煲水喝。特别是夏收夏种时节,农家习惯用大锅烧煮布荆茶,既可生津止渴解暑,又能驱风散气预防感冒。此外,有的农户还饮藤婆茶、森俚茶、石板树茶、清明籽茶等。
