    无色易流动液体。分子量102.14。密度0.8917g/cm3。沸点99℃。闪点12℃。在水中溶解度2%。与95%乙醇完全混溶。以1:(1-2)溶于60%乙醇。易溶于大多数有机溶剂。具有类似菠萝的香气。
    生产方法:主要采用酯化法。以丙酸和乙醇为原料,在浓硫酸催化剂存在下进行酯化反应,然后经中和、洗涤、干燥、蒸馏而得。
    用途:酯类合成香料。主要用于配制果实型和花香型香精及作为顶香剂。
