   性质  浅黄色易燃液体,暴露在空气和日光中变成红棕色。相对密度0.9984(20/4℃)。熔点-14.7℃。闪点85℃。沸点200.2℃。折射率nD(20℃)1.5725。微溶于水,溶于乙醇和乙醚。能与蒸汽一同挥发。
    用途  用作有机合成及染料的中间体
   毒性   剧毒。其毒性与苯胺基本相同。吸入蒸气或经皮肤吸收均会引起中毒,生成高铁血红蛋白,引起神经障碍以及致癌等。 工作场所空气中最高容许浓5mg/m3。防护方法参见“苯胺”。
