在一个绝热的管子中,装一对气流有较大阻滞作用的多孔物质的塞子。带有一定压力的气流能持续不断地流过多孔塞,形成稳定流动,在塞的两边维持一压力差,这时在塞子的两边即产生温度差,这过程中气体的焓是不变的,称为节流膨胀,也称为J-T效应。在制冷工业上,使气体通过一针形阀或毛细管来实现节流过程,此阀即为节流阀。
