沔阳古城遗址
沔阳古城遗址位于湖北省仙桃市市治西南30公里的沔城回族镇。该地从西魏起先后16次设郡（府、路、州）治所，历时853年。城池屡建屡毁。明初建沔阳蟹形州城，周长3800多米。清代重修。民国27年（1938年）被日军飞机炸毁。沔阳古城遗址上文化丰富，地面尚存明清石刻、孔子石雕像、陈友谅故居以及数座古庙；地下有隋唐至明清的铜器、陶瓷器等。
