      CH2=CHOR R为烷基、乙烯基、苯基等。含有乙烯基的各种醚的统称,主要由乙炔与醇反应而得。除甲基乙烯基醚外,低级烷基乙烯基醚大多是无色、易挥发液体。重要乙烯基醚的沸点如下:乙烯基醚易聚合,主要用来聚合和共聚以生产聚乙烯基醚,后者作为涂料、胶粘剂、助剂、增塑剂等。此外,乙烯基醚也可作为有机合成的原料。
  
  德国人W.J.雷佩首先发现乙炔与醇反应生成乙烯基醚,工业上是用碱金属氢氧化物为催化剂,反应式为:
  
  
   ROH+CH呏CH─→CH2=CHOR反应通常在液相中进行,乙炔用氮气稀释后,从反应器底部引入,与自上而下的醇逆流接触,生成的乙烯基醚随未反应的乙炔及氮气从顶部引出。经分离、精馏,可得乙烯基醚。随原料醇的沸点不同,反应可在常压或加压、130~180°C下进行。此法所需设备少,选择性高。
  
  乙烯基醚也可由醇、乙烯和氧在氯化钯-氯化铜催化剂存在下反应而得:
  
    ROH+CH2=CH2+??O2─→CH2=CHOR+H2O此法以乙烯为原料,是近年来开发的新方法。此外,乙烯基醚还可在石棉硼酸催化剂存在下,由缩醛裂解而得:
  
  
    CH3CH(OR)2─→CH2=CHOR+ROH
