灵山寺位于连山区山神庙子乡凉水井子村。建于1807年（清嘉庆十一年），延山势高低分为上下两院。共建有楼亭殿阁29座，是一处规模宏大的道、佛两教的古建筑群。现存的下院仍保留有天齐庙、钟鼓楼、太阳楼、太阴楼、天君楼、金刚楼、慈航楼、万佛楼等。天齐庙自成一个院落，正殿楹联是“爵施天齐主，功司地藏王”。门外一对石旗杆，中段灰塑“金龙盘玉柱”，龙鳞凸起圆目大口，钢丝龙须微微颤动，形象逼真。出庙门踏上石板桥，通往各个佛殿，交叉处有十字亭。太阳楼和太阴楼的外壁，画有二十四孝图，各楼都是歇山式两层带前厅，门边都有灰塑楹联，可谓上乘书法荟萃之地。最高的建筑是慈航楼，在天桥的中西，底层在桥下，是12面体的实心台，外壁塑成龙和祥云，气势庄严神圣，令人敬而生畏。 灵山寺曾一度香火极盛，吉林、黑龙江等地的“施主”都前来“布施”、朝拜。
