为菱科植物菱或其同属植物的果柄。植物形态详"菱"条。
【功用主治】
①《纲目拾遗》："治疣子(俗名饭僖)，用鲜水菱蒂搽一、二次即自落。" ②《本草推陈》："治胃溃疡。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，鲜者1～1.5两。外用：擦拭或捣汁搽。
【临床应用】
治疗皮肤疣 取鲜菱蒂在患部不断擦拭，每次约2分钟，每天6～8次。治疗青年扁平疣56例，全部治愈；寻常疣18例，17例治愈，1例无效；尖锐湿疣3例，2例治愈，1例无效；传染性软疣5例，4例治愈(中有1例复发)，1例无效。有效病例一般在15天左右皮损完全脱落。
