有着石城粮仓美誉的丰山乡,位于江西省赣州市石城县东北部,东邻岩岭,西南与小松木兰两乡(镇)交界,北接高田镇,面积约123.93平方公里。横贯石城城北部的交通要道进可入县城通全省,退可往闽粤达沿海,历来乃兵家中必争之地,为上水片政治经济文化中心。地势东南较高,西部略低,最高为沿沙村扁岭北背后山,海拔893米,最低点在河田村的大圹边,海拔240米。距县城约15公里,境内文物古迹众多,水源丰富,以丰山河为主,大琴、福村、沿沙河次之。年平均气温18℃,1月平均气温6.3℃,7月平均气温27.9℃,年降水量1663.2毫米,无霜期262天(3月上旬至11月下旬)。
