The content and activity of polyphenoloxidase(PPO) and superoxide Dismutase(SOD) of various organs of the kernel apricot were analysed,the results showed that there was significant difference in the activity of PPO and SOD among different growth period.

杏 Prunus armeniaca;apricot 蔷薇科李属落叶乔木。在中国的栽培起源较早,主要以黄河流域各省为主产地。树冠开张。叶宽卵圆形。花单生,花瓣白色或稍带红色。核果球形,果皮及果肉金黄色。品种按用途可分为鲜食类、仁用类、仁干兼用类3类。性喜光,耐寒力强,耐旱而不抗涝,能在各类土壤上生长,以排水良好的砂壤土最为适宜。嫁接繁殖,可用本砧或其他近缘野生种的实生苗作砧木。主要病虫害有桑介壳虫、杏仁蜂以及杏疔病等。果实富含铁和维生素A.味甜多汁。新疆库车的杏干和北京的杏脯是中国著名特产。杏仁可食用、榨油、入药。木材坚硬,适于制作抗断和抗压的物品。杏树还可做防护林和水土保持树种。
