性质:由许多分枝菌丝相互交织而成的菌丝集团,为多数真菌和放线菌特有。分两种基本类型:一为色浅、较细、密布于基质内以吸取营养为主者称营养菌丝体;另一为色深、较粗、向空间伸展者称气生菌丝体。营养菌丝体因种而异可分化为假根、吸器或附着枝等形式;气生菌丝体则可分化为形态各异的子实体,并产生各种孢子,以进行繁殖和传播。在实践上,菌丝体可作接种材料;用以生产各种胞外酶等代谢产物;或作为单细胞蛋白以供食用、药用、饲用或其他工业用途。
