性质:又称灰法明胶,B型明胶。用碱法工艺制得的明胶。皮料或骨料先经一系列预处理,除去无用物质,提出能够生产明胶的胶原——皮胶原或骨胶原(骨素)。碱法制胶是用石灰乳处理胶原,亦即浸灰,使其转化为明胶。由于浸灰条件缓和,灰液浓度低(2%~5%氢氧化钙悬浮液),温度控制在20℃以下,浸灰时间长达20周左右,在转化过程中水解作用缓慢,不会过多地损害肽链,除去杂质也较彻底,因此可以获得高产率、高质量的明胶。碱法明胶的特点是含氮量和等电点都偏低(相应地为<18%,pH值为4.7~5.2)。活性杂质含量少,理化性能好。感光工业用的照相明胶大都为碱法明胶,特别是碱法骨明胶。
