According to the requirements of the standard GB/T 228-2002 "metallic materials tensile testing at ambient temperature",the measurement uncertainty for the percentage elongation after fracture of cold-rolled austenitic stainless steel plates was studied in this paper.

Through the analysis of percentage elongation after fracture,we think that fixed gauge length does not involve the influence of diameter to the testing result,so,in order to ensure the percentage elongation,the fluctuation of tempering temperature was controlled within 15 degree centigrade,and it is a trial for heat treatment.
