   (南豆) 
   形态特征:豆科野豌豆属一年生草本植物。茎直立,不分枝,无毛,高30-100厘米。小叶椭圆形,长4-8厘米,宽2.5-4厘米;托叶大,半箭头状。花1至数朵腋生,花冠白色带红而有紫斑纹。荚果大而肥厚,长5-10厘米。种子圆状,略扁。 
   生境分布:我国各地均有栽培。世界各国亦有栽培。 
   用途:种子卵形。花、荚果、种壳、种子均可入药,有止血、利尿、解毒消肿之功效。
