性质:用酶检测物质组成或功能等的方法。一般采用化学分析难以检测的物质多采用此法。这些难以检测的物质可以是酶的底物,也可以是酶的抑制剂、活性剂或辅助因子。选择能定量测定被检测物的酶是保证测定效果的关键。需满足如下条件:(1)该酶能专一性作用于被检测物,并能获得它的制剂;(2)能研究使这种酶反应接近完全的条件;(3)反应中底物的减少,产物的增加,辅助因子的改变等或借助某种简便的方法测定出来。此法用于医疗诊断上,利用微生物等来源的酶,通过酶反应测定人体内各种组成成分。用于食品和原料的检定等。可实现微量测定和自动化测定。
