  X射线吸收光谱x--ray absorption Speetrumx射线透过物质时,基于吸收效应所产生的强度随波长变化的图谱。 x射线的吸收特征X射线束透过物质后,其减弱服从指数衰减定律。吸收系数包括光电吸收和散射吸收两部分,一般是前者远大于后者。物质的质量吸收系数是入射X射线波长及其所含元素的原子序数的函数。当吸收物质一定时,吸收系数先是近似随波长的三次方而增加,但到某一波长时,则发生陡然下降;随后又会出现类似的增长和下降规律。这些吸收跃变所对应的波长称为吸收限。吸收限是吸收元素的特征量,标志入射X射线的光子能量恰好能够逐出该原子中的K、L、M……层上电子的能量。利用吸收限的测量值,可以作出原子能级图,也是选择滤波片材料的依据。进一步的分析表明,吸收曲线在吸收限短波侧附近的变化并不是单调平滑的,而是表现出不同程度的振荡现象,称为X射线吸收限的精细结构(X射线吸收近限谱和扩展X射线吸收谱)。它是由吸收原子之周邻原子对出射光电子的背散射引起的,是该原子配位环境的一种反映。 X射线吸收谱分析法测量透过样品的X射线强度随波长的变化,根据所揭示的吸收限的波长,即可鉴定样品中所存在的元素。再通过测定各吸收限上所出现的吸收强度的变化,还可进行定量分析。在定量分析中,尚有利用单色或连续X射线的直接吸收分析法。X射线吸收分析法的分辨率和灵敏度都较荧光分析法为低,且应用有其局限性。目前几乎完全限于分析轻元素基体中所含的某些重元素,如汽油中所含铅的测定。 (张晋远)
