氟化氢(HF)的水溶液，是中等强度的酸，通常是指含氟化氢60％以上的水溶液。无色澄清的液体，有刺激气味，腐蚀性强，能侵蚀玻璃和硅酸盐制品，不腐蚀聚乙烯、铅和铂。极易挥发，在空气中会冒白烟，有剧毒，由萤石化学加工制得。大量用于制备冰晶石(氟铝酸钠)、氟化铝、氟树脂，生产制冷剂氟利昂，用于不锈钢的酸洗，玻璃的蚀刻，也用作醇、醚类的聚合、同分异构化、烷基化、碳氢化合物氟化时的催化剂，还用于钼、稀土、石墨等矿物的提纯。
