内蒙古丰镇市辖镇。山西省雁北地区通向内蒙古高原的重要关口，古称衙门口。位于内蒙古自治区集宁市以南饮马河谷地中，隔长城与山西省大同市相望，面积4平方公里，人口4.5万。清雍正十三年(1735)设"镇宁所"，在其东翼高庙子村（今兴和县内）设"丰川卫"，乾隆十五年(1750)所、卫合并，在衙门口筑土城取名丰镇。现有云母、水晶矿、机械、化肥、造纸、皮革、制鞋、食品、酿酒等企业。所产各式布鞋畅销，丰镇曲酒香飘长城内外。
