The Chinese Brands Strategic Association was launched in Beijing on Friday, on what was the third Chinese Brands Day.

The association aims to help China's independently-owned enterprises pursue high-quality development.

It was launched by China Media Group with over 1,000 participants, including central government ministries, local governments, brand enterprises, universities, and research institutions.

The State Council approved for Chinese Brands Day to be held annually on May 10. It was first held in 2017.
