The Sri Lankan special task force arrested three people with home-made hand grenades and swords from Modara in the capital Colombo, police said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said the three were detained during a raid conducted by the police troops. The three had 21 locally manufactured grenade-type low explosives and six swords in their possession.
A van allegedly belonging to one of the three was also seized.
Sri Lanka's security forces have been conducting nationwide search operations to nab suspects linked to Sunday's explosions which killed 359 people and injured over 500.
Over 75 suspects have been arrested following the attacks so far.
