Chinese carmaker BYD has launched(推出 tuīchū) the world's longest(最长的 zuì cháng de) pure(纯 chún) electric bus(巴士 bāshì).The bus is 27m long,triple(三倍 sān bèi) that of a regular(普通的 pǔtōng de) bus, with a maximum speed(速度 sùdù) of 70km/h. It has a passengr capacity of 250. The bus is designed to run almost 300 km with just one charge to reduce carbon emissions.

BYD has set up pure electric bus factories in China, the U.S., Brazil, Hungary and France so far.
