Books for Love

What Share your love of reading and help support the future generations of readers through Swire Properties' "Books for Love @ $10" campaign, which is currently underway and culminates on April 25 to 28 at ArtisTree in Taikoo Place. Simply donate your second-hand books until March 31 at one of the 46 designated collection points, and then browse thousands of items at the event. Now in its ninth year, this is one of Swire Properties' most anticipated charity events. NGO beneficiaries from the event include The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong and the Agency for Volunteer Service.

A Cappella Festival

What Sing your heart out! It's a cappella season in Hong Kong, and a host of young local and international performers convene over several days to celebrate at the 2019 Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival. The action begins with

the Gala at Citywalk in Tsuen Wan, a preface to the main event – Extravaganza at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai, which features performances by Taiwan's VOV Vocal Band, St Stephen's College Hong Kong's Prayers and Italy's award-winning Cluster. That's followed by the Parade over two days at the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity in Kowloon Tsai.

Be a Camper

What Camping is the new cool for families at Saiyuen Camping & Adventure Park on Cheung Chau as part of Be a Camper. The weekend event features camping experts from Japan and Taiwan sharing insider tips, an outdoor market selling global and local camping brands, children's play areas and a host of performances. Day camping tickets for adults and children are HK$250 and HK$125, respectively. Naturally, the spirit of the event is zero-waste, so campers should bring their own tableware for the occasion. Each ticket is accompanied by a cup of wheat beer for adults and soft drinks for children. Happy camping!
