The Lhasa-Nyingchi section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway is the first electrified railway in Tibet Autonomous Region. This difficult project needs to overcome plenty of problems, such as lower oxygen levels on the Plateau, complex geological conditions, and environmental protection.
